Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research. But to be clear, raising money isn’t the primary purpose of this web event. The hope is that you turn your site pink (in whatever way works for your site), educate yourself about the multiple issues related to Breast Cancer, then take that knowledge and tell someone else what you’ve learned.

Breast cancer is …

Quite some time ago I said we have 4 extra prizes for our contests. In the first bonus contest, I invited you to share your story and in the second bonus contest, I invited you to design (and share) Pink for October buttons/badges/banners. Now, in this third bonus contest, I am asking you to complete this sentence in no more than 20 words:

“Breast cancer is …”

It is very easy to participate — All you need to do is think of a slogan or whatever you call it, and complete the sentence in NO MORE THAN 20 words. Write your slogans in the comments section. Slogans that have more than 20 words will be disqualified.

On Oct 31st, I will randomly pick one slogan, and the lucky winner will win one of these prizes. It’s that easy! :D

Good luck!
