I am Anni's daughter, Ellen's niece. I was going to submit a story, but could not have done a better job than my mom did. I think about my Aunt Ellen every day! I can't believe she is gone, even though we knew the day would come. She was so young, vibrant and strong before her Cancer beat her down. My last memory of seeing my Aunt in the hospital the week she died, haunts me. No one should have to go through that. She was so tiny and frail. She told me she was scared. :( I was so scared too, but all I said to her in return was that she needed to eat and gain her strength back to get well. She had fought so hard for so many years, that a small part of me thought she would be returning home. She passed away 2 days later. My Aunt will forever be a part of me!
