Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research. But to be clear, raising money isn’t the primary purpose of this web event. The hope is that you turn your site pink (in whatever way works for your site), educate yourself about the multiple issues related to Breast Cancer, then take that knowledge and tell someone else what you’ve learned.

Design and win!

Remember a few days ago I said we have 4 extra prizes for our contests? Well, in the first bonus contest, I invited you to share your story and stand a chance to win a prize. Now, in the second bonus contest, I am inviting you to design (and share) Pink for October buttons/badges/banners and you will stand a chance to win a prize! :D

It is very easy to participate — All you need to do is design a Pink for October button or badge or banner and email it to me. OK, OK, you may send as many of your designs to me as you like. I will upload your designs onto the Downloads page (I know that sounds a little confusing but I am sure you’re all smart people) so that others can view and put them up on their blogs or websites.

On Oct 31st, I will randomly pick one design, and the lucky winner will win one of these prizes. It’s that easy! :D
